Starcraft 2 - Protoss Air Unit

The Protoss race known for their superiority and advancement in technology and equipments has the superb air unit that can transport, spy and attack opposing race. As to be expected, the Protoss has the most sophisticated and advanced vessels among all the races.

Some of these Protoss air units are Phase Prisims which are tactical transports to transfer Protoss forces to the battlefield. With the help of warp gates, they are able to send reinforcements quickly. Protoss also uses psionic manufacturing processes which is a crystal computer and is able to manipulate matter and energy.

The Phoenix is a fighter spacecraft which can both scout and engage in battle at the same time. This aircraft is perfect for air to air battle and also efficient in destroying light ground units. Should the needs arises, the Phoenix pilot can unleash a discharge from the air craft and can destroy large numbers of enemies at once.

Protoss Mothership is the counterpart of the Terran Nomad. Its main use is to be the primary ship that the commanders may use during a battle. But that was during the Protoss’ golden days, now, the remaining Motherships are used as shrines as reminder of their proud heritage and race.

The Observer is used to scout and survey and terrain or to keep watch over a certain territory since observers are able to detect even clocked enemies. But because of its size, this aircraft is very vulnerable to attacks. Protoss carriers are huge aircrafts where the Protoss commanders usually operate. The reason for this is because a Carrier has a heavy armor.
